Dans une Interview au Journal du Dimanche le 28 novembre 1993, Pierre Bergé déclare vouloir créer une Fondation Yves Saint Laurent : "Tous nos biens, absolument tout ce que nous possédons, ira à cette Fondation…"

Le 5 avenue Marceau est redécoré, sans toutefois compromettre le style original de Victor GrandPierre. Le studio et le bureau de M. Saint Laurent ne sont pas concernés par cette rénovation.

Yves Saint Laurent et Paloma Picasso décident un soir de revisiter Le Palace, le club parisien où Paloma Picasso a notamment fêté son mariage, et où ils ne sont pas allés depuis des années. À leur arrivée, le portier, ne les ayant jamais vus, refuse de les laisser entrer... C'est le directeur du club, très confus, qui finira par leur ouvrir les portes.

In a 28 November 1993 interview with the Journal du Dimanche weekly, Pierre Bergé describes his plan to create a foundation: “All our possessions, absolutely everything that we have, will go to this foundation...”

1996 New Decor

Number 5 Avenue Marceau is redecorated without compromising the original style of Victor GrandPierre. Yves Saint Laurent's studio and office are not affected by this renovation.

Yves Saint Laurent and Paloma Picasso decide to revisit their old haunt the Palace night club, which they have not gone to for years and where Paloma celebrated her wedding. The doorman does not recognize them and refuses to let them in. It is the embarrassed director of the club who finally lets them in.
